Keep it to yourself. by KashimusPrime Keep it to yourself. by KashimusPrime
It's great that you have a background story for a deleted character from a cartoon film and all, but we fan artists don't need it shoved down our throats like a religion. Seriously, obsessively harassing every uploaded drawing of said deleted character is absurd.

The way to show disgreement in such an uncivilized, rude and impolite way is something that I experience from time to time mostly at YouTube. The last example happened few days ago when I posted a comment on a video about a car I don´t like, and someone began to harass me calling me "idiot" a number of times, saying "fucking..." repeatedly and ending with "shut the fuck up". The most curious thing of all was that, as I checked in the profile of that guy, he seems to be aged 38, even older than me, and still he spoke as if he were a brainless teenager (as I called him back)!

Honestly, those guys remind me of those stupid tiny dogs who start barking angrily rightaway instead of showing some wisdom, making sure and asking politely first and then barking if necessary. But no. They have to behave like stupid brainless children. A good kick in the snout is what they deserve, to make them shut up and show them how to behave.

To that guy at YouTube I made him clear that there´s a difference between disagreeing and insulting; that I´m perfectly fine with disagreements (in fact, I may learn important things that I ignore from disagreements), but that there is an important gap between that and insulting.

Immature disagreeance over CARS? I may be a Car enthusiast but I don't do that bullshit :stare:

Any respectful car enthusiast would know to respect other's opinions. I like Audis, others don't, that don't mean I go around harassing people who don't. People come to me saying "I don't like lion king" and I just go "I do but I respect your opinion good sir." People... Jesus Christ.. :iconfacepalmplz:

Absurd indeed... The video was one on the Skoda Octavia; a car which, I´m afraid, I never liked so much. Here you are what that guy typed for me rightaway (no previous conversation); just copied and pasted:

"lol are you out of your fucking mind? Skoda copied Lexus? Rover? wtf.. and yes they have some parts from VW and Audi because its the same fucking VolksWagen group you idiot. for example Rover uses the same pars as Ford, Volvo, Mazda, Lincoln, Jaguar ... Lexus is Toyota which shares with Lexus, Scion, Subaru and so on.., so shut the fuck up, idiot"

Beautiful, eh? Next, this was my reply, divided into two because of room restrictions (again, just copied and pasted):

"You´d better go to school, learn to speak and be more respectful with people, you brainless child. "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck"... is that all you can say? Nice range of vocabulary indeed... And also, did I insult you? Not at least on purpouse, so there´s no reason to call me idiot. Disagreeing with me is perfectly okay, but there´s a difference between disagreeing and insulting. I´m honestly fed up with that chldish behaviour. Cool down and show a little bit of wisdom, okay?

(continued) I still keep my viewpoint that the Octavia copied parts from Lexus and Rover. Just take the three cars and see how similar some versions on the Octavia look like a Rover and a Lexus. And not only the front part of the car: even the windows. Also, the rear lights of some version of the Octavia remind me of those of the old Citroën C5. You´re welcome to disagreeing with me (but, once more, be careful with what you say and measure your words), but i´ll still hold my viewpoint."

Ever since, he remained silent and he didn´t even apologize. Did I succeed on convincing him and making him feel ashamed or is he hard-minded after all?

I can name several things wrong in that sentence. He don't know shit about cars. Audi and Volkswagon are two different companies. Only recently have they collaberated on a smart car that drives itself.

It sounds to me like you put him in his place :iconclapplz:
