At witts end with Scar's reign, Nala had no choice but to seek help before more innocent blood had spilled. Knowing full well her infant daughter Vitani couldn't join her she went to the only lioness in the pride whom was also with cubs.

"Where I am going, is far too dangerous for her. She is safest here with her pride." Nala spoke, her voice cracking as she held back tears.

Accepting the cub, Zira took Vitani in, caring for her while Nala went on a long trek to find food. However, things weren't always as they seemed.
